Gurinder will now direct Shabana in her forthcoming film, it’s a Wonderful Afterlife. Like everybody, Gurinder has also been a long-time admirer of Shabana’s acting prowess. It’s a Wonderful Afterlife will have Shabana play a Britain-based hysterical Punjabi mother who is on the look-out for a suitable match for her daughter.
