Rohit Shetty at present busy with his Ajay Devgan starrer upcoming release Singham movie which release on July 22, but the a filmmaker announce her next big plans another comedy movie Bol Bachchan.
This comedy flick movie was announced with Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles as early worked together in Zammen.
But now another buzz is that Rohit has got Asin and Genelia DSouza to play the female leads in this fun-filled film.
Interestingly, this is the first time that Asin and Genelia would be working together and its does make for an interesting casting.
Bol Bachchan is produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. and Ajay Devgn Ffilms. Shooting begins in mid-August this year and the film will release in early 2012.
Rohit Shetty says he is planning to cast his good friend Ajay Devgn, with whom he teamed up in the recent hit “All The Best”, and his actress wife Kajol together in a film.
“Ajay and Kajol have a very strong reputed husband-wife kind of image and with them it (the film) should be of that class and on that level. I have been looking for a script keeping them in mind and the day I get one, I’ll definitely make a film with both of them,” Shetty told.
Talking about his camaraderie with Ajay, Shetty said: “Ajay and I gel very well. In fact, now I am of the opinion that why should I go out and look for a hero when I have a man in the house. It’s like a family now.”
Ajay and Shetty’s friendship goes back to 1991 hit film “Phool Aur Kaante” – both started their career with the romantic action movie. The film launched Ajay as an actor, while Shetty worked as a junior assistant to director Sandesh Kohli.
In 2003 when Shetty turned a full-fledged director with “Zameen”, he cast Ajay in the main lead. Since then Ajay is seen in all directorial ventures of Shetty — “Golmaal”, “Sunday”, “Golmaal Returns” and “All The Best – Fun Begins”.
The duo is now set to team up for the third instalment of “Golmaal” franchise and a sequel to “All The Best. Sources: samaylive.com
After his both last movie All The Best buzz on the box office. Now Rohit shetty has confirm to make Golmaal part 3, as early Golmaal and Golmaal Return more attracted people watch to this movie. But Rohit has decided to add another character Sanjay Dutt in Golmaal 3 and all other character also work in same movie.
Now, the director has started work on the third installment of his Golmaal series. The film will have an ensemble cast and Sanjay Dutt will be the new entrant in this comic marathon.
With Rohit managing to stretch his Golmaal flavor to its third level, let’s hope this genre of comedy is venerated for its unique flavor for a long time to come.
Mugdha Godse joins the cast of Rohit Shetty’s untitled next which is being produced by Ajay Devgan. The film stars Sanjay Dutt and Fardeen Khan along with Devgan. As reported Bipasha Basu was signed opposite Devgan. Mugdha is paired with Fardeen Khan. A source reveals, “Rohit Shetty had liked Mugdha in Fashion and kept her in mind.
When this project rolled, he recommended her name and everyone approved of the choice.” This will be Mugdha’s first comedy.”
The film is based on the Hindi play Uncle Samjha Karo which was staged five years ago in Mumbai and deals with mistaken identities and hilarious goof-ups.
The project is slated to roll in March and will be shot mostly in Goa, a location that Rohit considers lucky as he filmed his Golmaal films there. Mugdha will also be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh in a deglam role.
