They made a fabulous team to give up a strong performance in the critically acclaimed ‘Omkara’. Now, director Vishal Bharadwaj and actress Kareena Kapoor team up once again for the love story “Mr Singh & Mrs Mehta” to be produced by UTV. The movie is based on a love story of two married people.
Not long before, Aamir Khan had been chosen for the lead role, but somehow Aamir Khan and filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj did not agree with each other on certain points in the script and they decided to amicably part ways.
While Kareena Kapoor will play Mrs. Singh, the production house is looking around for Mr. Mehta. Let’s see who eventually bags the role! Irrfan Khan will play Pan Singh Tomar in UTV’s film by the same name to be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. “Pan Singh Tomar was a soldier who, when he returned to his village after retirement, became a victim of social injustice. The only thing known about Pan Singh was that he was a dreaded dacoit of the Chambal Valley.
