Big B will play a superstar named Ashmit Bhargava in the film titled The Actor, produced by Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC) and will go on floors soon.
This film written by Kushan, Kiran Shyam Shroff and Ghalib Asa incorporates many incidents from Amitab’s life, making it his most autobiographical film to date. Kushan Nandy, son of Pritish Nandy, makes his debut as director with this film. PNC earlier made Kante (2002) with Amitabh directed by Sanjay Gupta. Sources
