The title and story of Shah Rukh Khan’s first film with director Priyadarshan have been revealed & this of home production Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Billu Barber’ directed by Priyadarshan has constantly been in the news mainly for its changes in the cast.
This movie is a remake of the Malayalam film, Katha Parayumbol, same as it Priyadarsha last movie was bhool bhulaiya starter Akshay Kumar was hit Remake or copy of Malayam Movie. Now this time doing in Billo Barbar movie. It revolves around a humble village barber (Irrfan) and his superstar friend (SRK). Amisha plays the barber’s wife and also shares substantial screen space with Shah Rukh. It’s almost a dream come true for the chirpy actress who is known for gushing over SRK, say industry sources.
The comedy, which Shah Rukh Khan will also produce, is to be titled Billo Barber and will be a modern day adaptation of the friendship between Krishan and Sudama. A source from Red Chillies Entertainment says, “Billoo Barber is a story based on the relationship between Krishna and his childhood friend Sudama. Priyadarshan is adapting this story of friendship between two friends – one rich and the other a poor villager – in a completely new avatar. Here SRK represents Krishna, he plays an actor. On the other hand Irrfan Khan represents Sudama and plays a village barber. The two are friends from school who grow up and drift until they meet again.”
Toe-tapping and delightful music is being orchestrated by Pritam to lyrics penned by the much-admired veteran wordsmith Gulzar.
And not to be missed will be item numbers by the hot and sizzling Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and for the first time ever on the big screen, the beautiful and sensational Deepika Padukone.
