Amir Kareena in 3 Idiots

This is first movie of Amir & Kareena working tougher. Aamir Khan said that he will play the character Ryan in the Rajkumar Hirani’s film “Three Idiots”. He said that role is challenging though it was not opposite actress Kareena Kapoor. The film is based on the Chetan Bhagat’s book Five Point Someone that has three characters Ryan, Alok and Hari and Shah Rukh Khan had turned down to play Hari.
This is basically a comedy movie and originally had Shahrukh Khan and Kajol playing the lead role but unable to work out dates so the role went to Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan. Aamir is playing a comedy role after a very long gap. His last comedy movie was Ishq back in 1997.
Good opportunity for Kareena, Aamir was the only Khan she never worked with. She waited for 5-long years for this day and it was dream come true for Kareena as she started shooting with Aamir Khan today for ‘3 Idiots’. Kareena and Aamir are currently in Ladakh and are shooting with Director Rajkumar Hirani of Munnabhai fame, Bebo has waited for this day for long and people on the sets were surprised to see the actress get emotional while giving her first shot with Aamir Khan.
